Creative Prayer

“…The most excellent method…of going to God, [is] that of doing our common business … purely for the love of God.”
― Brother Lawrence, The Practice of the Presence of God

Sundays at 5:00 PM join us on Zoom Practicing the Presence of God Through Creative Prayer; a time of soaking in the words of the Bible and then creatively processing and responding.

We’ve taken the name Practicing the Presence of God from a monk named Brother Lawrence who believed that the presence of God shouldn’t be reserved only for church services or prayer times – it is to be found in all of life! Whether washing dishes, going for a walk, or performing other duties, Brother Lawrence sought to focus on communicating with God. In our Sunday night times we are practicing bringing prayer into our creative lives and creativity into our prayer lives.

Each week a different a facilitator guides us through a creative mediation or exercise to help us practice the presence of God. Zoom Link for Creative Prayer: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/81414391779
