Open call for art sponsored by HPC Artists in partnership with His Providence Church, Swansea, MA and Convergence, Alexandria, VA.

We believe God has given artists a vision that can help all of us to be open to His presence. We see this in Exodus, when God gave Moses ten full chapters to convey His intention for the tabernacle, the space that opened a visual and spiritual portal to communion with God.

The book of Exodus deals with concepts we need – God centered responses to today’s questions. Questions about faith, fear, vulnerability, freedom, slavery, and courage. The past few years have brought tremendous amount of uncertainty and confusion, we believe Art is a part of our healing.

The Exodus show will be virtual and will make its debut on the big screen at His Providence Church in Swansea MA on Saturday, July 22nd, 2023. Our intention is to share this video exhibition with other church or para-church groups to be hosted within their spaces. Open to painting, drawing, printmaking, mixed media, and photography.
