ADVENT CALL FOR ART

F0r Advent this year, we’ll reflect on the writing of poet and essayist, Kathleen Norris. In her evocative and thought provoking piece, “Annunciation,” she invites us to consider the Annunciation in a far more dramatic fashion with real life implications for us as contemporary readers.

We are now accepting submissions for original works created in response to the “Annunciation” essay by Kathleen Norris. You can think of it as a Visio Divina exercise to which you respond with your own artwork, poetry, writing, video, photography, collage, music, dance, etc.

We’ll share our responses throughout the month of Advent during our Sunday evening Creative Prayer time, through our weekly emails, and on the blog. All works must be submitted by November 13th, 2023. You can upload your submission here >
